Molina Family Scholarship

The GHRA Molina Family Scholarship
Application Guidelines and Instructions

Completed scholarship applications must be postmarked by March 15, 2012

The GHRA Molina Family Scholarship, formally the GHRA Family and Professional Development Grant, was established in 2004 in an effort to help support our members who may need assistance in funding their education. In 2005 the GHRA Board of Directors chose to broaden the eligibility to include those members who may have children or employees who need funding assistance.

Selection of the GHRA Molina Family Scholarship recipients is based on many factors with special emphasis on the individual’s character, personal merit and background.  Merit is demonstrated in a variety of ways: leadership in school, civic and other extracurricular activities, academic achievement, and motivation to serve and succeed in all endeavors.  The recipient will be notified in April 2012 and will be expected to attend the GHRA Presidents Dinner date to be determined where the GHRA Education Committee Chairman will present the award.

All finalists will be notified and will be expected to interview with a member of the Education Committee at the beginning of April. The recipients will be expected to attend the GHRA President’s Dinner on June 20th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where they will be presented the scholarship. Each scholarship winner will receive two complimentary tickets to the dinner.
