With the future of the restaurant industry and those who support it in mind, the GHRA has created a fund with unique scholarship opportunities that will help educate the restaurateurs of tomorrow.

The Molina Family Scholarship – Click Here to Apply

The GHRA Molina Family Scholarship, formally the GHRA Family and Professional Development Grant, was established in 2004 in an effort to help support our members who may need assistance in funding their education. In 2005 the GHRA Board of Directors chose to broaden the eligibility to include those members who may have children or employees who need funding assistance.

High School Hospitality and Culinary Arts Scholarship – Click Here to Apply

Selection of GHRA Hospitality and Culinary Arts Scholarship is based on many factors with special emphasis on the question & essay segment which deals with the student’s philosophy, goals and academic achievements, as well as motivation to serve and succeed in this industry.

Volunteer Scholarship – Click Here to Apply

Those interested must have volunteered at one or more of the following GHRA events: Cookout, Gala, Culinary Competition and/ or Golf Tournament.

College Hospitality and Culinary Arts Scholarship – Click Here to Apply

Selection of GHRA Hospitality and Culinary Arts Scholarship is based on many factors with special emphasis on the question & essay segment which deals with the student’s philosophy, goals and academic achievements, as well as motivation to serve and succeed in this industry. The need for assistance will be considered after all other considerations.

Additionally, the GHRA supports the Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation’s scholarships and other continuing education programs.
