The Educational Outlet Series is our way of giving back to our members with the gift of knowledge. We bring an expert panel to discuss an important matter relevant to restaurateurs and associate members and provide an open forum for questions. Topics range from tax laws, alcohol certifications and social media insight. The Greater Houston Restaurant Association, (GHRA) has partnered with the University Of Houston Small Business Development Center, UH SBDC! We plan to bring even more educational outlets, seminars, and workshops available as your trusted source in Houston for updated information related to the restaurant industry.

Wine and food are definitely two great tastes that go together; and the combination is anything but a fad. Pairing wine with food is not the mystery that some people make it out to be, especially when you have the top experts showing you the way.
Whether you are a restaurateur that can use help choosing the wines for your list that will match perfectly with your menu to delight your customers and increase your profits, or a home cook that wants to make your dinner parties an even bigger hit, this event is for you! Learn the secrets and techniques of pairing wine and food from some of Houston’s most successful chefs and sommeliers. Not only will you learn the theory, but you’ll taste and experience the results.
