About the Texas ProStart Invitational Competitions

Texas ProStart students with proven skills and a commitment to the industry are given the chance to showcase their abilities in the Texas ProStart Invitational. The Texas ProStart Invitational is composed of two distinct competitions: the culinary and management competitions. Students compete at regional competitions and first through third place winning teams from each regional then compete at the state finals. The two winning teams, one culinary and one management, represent Texas at the National ProStart Invitational.

All competitions will be open to all Texas ProStart schools to participate in. Schools may not participate in more than one regional competition.

Competition Format

Day 1  1pm – 5pm
Culinary teams begin competition with Product Check-in. Product will stay at the competition site in a secured, climate-controlled area. Management teams check in display boards and other materials.

Day 2
Culinary competition begins. Management teams begin verbal presentations.
